Ma*rs WC and Ebay Gyaru Spring Haul

Hey cuties πŸ’– so happy to be back to blogging again as I now have some time off work. I have so many blogs planned but I wanted to catch up first with this haul but expect to see some inspo posts soon! This is going to be my first Spring Summer back in gyaru fashion and I have been feeling so inspired for it. I want to wear a few different styles including Tsuyome, Agejo, Hime and more general Gyaru kei too. So that means I have to pick up (and make!) a few new pieces πŸ’•

Starting with some Ma*rs pieces πŸŽ€ As soon as I saw the necklace I had to buy it, I only have one other Ma*rs necklace which has a print so I think this one will go with more pieces. I also bought this hair bow and it is really big 😍 It matches my other necklace and belt so now I have a finished set πŸ’•

I found these cute Kumatan badges which will go in an upcoming giveaway hehe 😊

I got these two chain belts from ASOS so I can stop borrowing Clairey's πŸ˜‚ but seriously I had to buy these if I want to try Tsuyome, they remind me of D.I.A belts and there so large and chunky. I've bought a set of 4 D.I.A belts too that are on their way to us now I'm so excited for them to arrive. But how cute is the transparent one? I'm excited for it because it will compliment so many different outfits which might not suit gold.

Now onto the clothes 🌞 I've been feeling recently the want to stop buying first hand as much as possible, we don't follow modern trends so I don't have a need to buy all my clothes first hand. Being tall, I will have to buy the basics first hand still and I won't be able to fit gyaru brand so I've been looking at old gyaru pictures and finding items that match. I also can style them more gyaru with gyaru brand accessories which is why I bought my new pieces. I found this Juicy Couture jumper £13 (current boom) that I think will look for Gyaru kei as it's so bright and colourful. It really gives me a beachy vibe 🌞 I bought some studded distressed shorts £5 based of a lot of D.I.A shorts which are distressed and have metal embellishments. They were also new with tags as well ^^

Sticking with D.I.A inspiration I bought these denim fringe jacket for £10 new with tags. I found a lot of shop staff coords with fringe which might be in an upcoming post. I've chosen white to be one of my main wardrobe colours as it fits a few gyaru styles whilst being light and springy. I've bought some white skinny jeans also, (new but on ebay) 2 pairs of shorts and another denim jacket. I have a lot DIYs planned in white including those white denim shorts with leopard print inspired by D.I.A but more on that later 😁 Me and Claire have a whole leopard vibe going on (as you can tell from the backdrop).

Of course I couldn't leave Clairey out so I bought her a Juicy Couture top new with tags for £10 The colours really reminded me of Claire and will fit in her wardrobe nicely.

And I brought her some neon orange shorts for £9 new with tags. She's planning to match it with her knitting projecting which will become a halter neck racerback, big beachy vibes πŸŒ…

And that's my haul πŸ’• I can't wait to show you our shorts DIY and my D.I.A inspo blog too but that's for another time 😊

What are your fashion vibes your feeling for spirng/summer?

Feeling Juicy Juicy Couture Coords and Getting Ready for Spring!

 Hey cuties!

How have you all been? We had to take a bit of a step back because work has been really busy for Amy and getting near the exams for Clairey 😫 We wanted to get back in touch with our creative and gyaru self's so we have some blog posts planned, but they may not come out in the right order πŸ˜…

So, it was recently the first day of spring, not that you would notice in the UK. It's so grey all the time!!! We want to feel all the spring vibes, sunshine and bright colours but the weather is so πŸ˜–

Amy recently did a super Juicy Couture haul both from the new collection and second hand (yay for saving money, haul coming soon) so were forcing spring into action with our Juicy coords!

Outfit Details
Wig - Webster Wigs
Clip - Primark
Top - Juicy Couture
Necklace - Juicy Couture
Belt - ASOS
Shorts - DIY by me.

Clairey here! So okay, I swear I'm going to be brighter during spring and summer! The look kind of called for it πŸ˜… Amy bought me this Juicy top as surprise, I love it's sporty street vibe. Also the shorts I DIY'ed are a recreation of a JSG skirt I love.

I decided to do shorts as I prefer wearing them to skirts. I'm currently at the point where I've finished sewing on the leopard making them into turn ups on the short. Just thinking now on how to finish it with the bow.  I think I should make the bow super cute and oversized πŸ’– Amy's joined me on this remake and were planning to make HUGE usamimi's and leg warmers too! Again like I said before πŸ˜… when were finished with the shorts and extras we will make a blog post about the process!

What can I say, I'm a total 2009-2010's gyaru!

Outfit Details
Wig - Webster Wigs
Jewellery - Juicy Couture
Dress - Juicy Couture
Jeans - ASOS

When I saw Juicy had come out with some pastel pieces for spring I just had to take a look. I fell in love with this monogram Juicy plush hooded dress which would be perfect for me as a long line top (Tall problems πŸ˜‚) I paired it with my crown Juicy jewellery including a necklace my older sister got me thank you πŸ’– I just had to wear my new bob wig as well which I bought inspired of a Romihi Egg cover, I'm ready for a pink spring! πŸ’• I'm really inspired for spring/summer and have been planning my wardrobe and colours 😍 pink included. I'm really ready to have a gyaru spring summer but I can't choose between gyaru kei, himegyaru, agejo and tsuyome πŸ˜… so I'm just going to do them all!

Hope to do more in depth blogging soon, we've been reading lots of gyaru blogs and feel so inspired! πŸ˜ƒ

JSG Nostalgia Shop Staff Inspo~

 Hey cuties!

So as I was searching through the JSG Ameblo and shop staff blogs for worn shots of a certain skirt I'm recreating (post coming soon); I was super inspired seeing all these posts about super iconic JSG outfits and found a shop staff called Kayo san! She's super adorable and her hair and makeup were always on point, so I wanted to share. You can find JSG's ameblo here and here and Kayo's blog here

Let's start with Kayo!

This was the first pic I saw of here and wow! Perfect 2009-2010s gyaru. The British flag bow and the blue makeup really grabbed my eye.

I super love these boiler suit playsuits 😍 Totally super cute and this and the cat ear hoodies were so iconic to me at the time!

Also these jackets are a dream item for me. I keep searching online to find one 😭

JSG had many super cute collaborations with different companies, Disney being one of them. It totally fits in with the graphic playful style JSG has.

More playful cat ears and animal prints 🐈

JSG will always remain one of my favourite brands, and I'm super sad there not around anymore. But seeing these 2010's gyaru pics with JSG in their prime really made me so happy πŸ’–

I can't wait to show you my recreation of one of their skirts when its finished. I've been documenting it every step πŸ’•

Spring Summer Gyaru Knits Inspo

 Hey cuties!
I know a lot of us are fed up with winter and cold weather and are looking forward to spring summer 🌻. I am as well and we're meant to finish lockdown too in spring so I can't wait to see friends. But while I wait I thought I'd look for some spring summer inspo and match it with what I can make too. I love making my own clothes be it sewing or knitting and Clairey and I have been caught by the knitting bug when I'm off work. I know knits make you think of winter but they don't have to be! I found some modern and 2010s gyaru inspo to get you hyped for spring summerπŸ’•.

(Taken from Egg Instagram)
Matching knit separates has been a huge trend I've noticed especially a bralette and cardigan. I've seen a lot of western stores selling these too especially now with all the ss21 collections dropping. I've knitted a few bralettes in the style before using an amazing easy pattern by Jessie Maed that looks like this called the Ripple Bralette.

The knit uses a fine yarn so it isn't wintery at all and matches perfectly!

(Taken from Aisyu101 Instagram)
The fluffy knit separate is perfect for British spring time when it's still too cool. I'm super inspired by the beach photos which also matches bralette too. I love the styling with the D.I.A belt and platform sandals.

( From JSG Ameblo)
Now onto the 2010's inspo~! I had to include this knit that Clairey found. The colours are so bright.

(From D.I.A Crooz blog but from when they started to dilute 😒)

(From Tumblr not sure who's it refreshed after I took a screen cap πŸ˜“)
I'm really inspired by the gal on the right with the D.I.A beach look. The top matches another pattern I've knitted up before. It's similar with the outfit Aisyu was wearing too and is definitely the same vibe I want to create. To take my mind of how cold it is in the U.K I decided to do two flat lays using the inspo and my knitting and I came up with this.

And here is my 1st, the knitting patterns are The Breeze Racerback and Ripple Bralette by Jessie Maed. I super recommend her patterns there really simple and she has lots of tutorial IGTV videos on her Insta linked above. I had to use some denim shorts and a chain belt after looking at all the inspo. I also used my Dr Marten flatform sandals to match with Aisyu's look as well. To continue the beach feel I used my bead necklace I bought on holiday one year πŸ’– I'll just pretend I'm back on the beach again πŸ˜‚

I used the same pattern again but this time in a full pink outfit. I haven't finished my pink bralette yet for this one but I'm planning on crossing the straps at the front like a lot of D.I.A tops do. The racerback alone though has a deep plunge which makes it more sexy πŸ’•. I was inspired by Y2K when making this flat lay so I paired it with a butterfly chain belt and Playboy necklace. I bought these pink shorts when we went to Disneyland but I didn't get a chance to wear them so I HAVE to wear them this year!

And thats the start of my spring summer inspo! I love combining my passions in life and I think I'm going to be quite busy knitting for summer now πŸ˜‚.What are your hobbies?

We Love Kumatan Our Gyaru Boom WC Twin Look

Hey cuties~!
We wanted to finish our birthday month twin coords with our shared Gyaru boom WπŸ’—C! We both love the playful cuteness of WπŸ’—C and Kumatan of course!

WπŸ’—C has always been one of our favourite brands. Super bright, creative and cute. Chinatsu Watatuki is just super inspiring and we always try pick up the original WπŸ’—C pieces when we can!

With our Kumatan jumpers at the ready, we both took our WπŸ’—C items and styled them to what we like best.

Outfit Rundown
Headband - WπŸ’—C
Necklace - Glavil
Jumper - WπŸ’—C
Chain Belt - ASOS
Skirt - ASOS

Clairey here! So I wanted to go super 2010's gyaru being specifically inspired by Egg model Romihi. She probably is my fave gyaru model of all time. Super colourful and amazing hair and make. I also managed to find a wig with the famous split hair style which was super popular at the time! I would love to have that hair now 😭 Even though the look is rather monochromatic I wanted to liven it up with leopard print! The super sized bow really gives it that OTT cute look.

I wanted to kind of match my makeup to what was popular at the time in 2010s gyaru. So golds and brown on the lid and a pink glossy lip to finish it off πŸ’•

Outfit Rundown
Jumper: WπŸ’—C
Necklace: Missguided
Winnie the Pooh Bag: Disney Shanghai
Scrunchie: Disney U.K
Shorts: Offbrand

Amy here, I was so happy when we found this cute baby pink and blue WπŸ’—C jumper as it suits me perfectly. I chose this blonde to pink wig to match Romihi too on an Egg cover and I'm really enjoying short hair. I wanted to carry on the pink and bear theme on with my new Winnie the pooh bag that I wore as a bumbag 🐻. We've been having spring weather recently and it's really inspired me. Bring on Spring and Summer✨!

And that's February finished, we're still in lockdown in England but doing these twin looks together has made lockdown more enjoyable. I hope we can all enjoy a safe spring and summer 🌞
